Pioneer's New Brand Strategy
After a year of listening sessions, focus groups, and survey data, Pioneer is putting the final touches on our new brand strategy and our enhanced customer experience - including a new website, URL, email addresses, marketing materials, and much more - slated to launch this summer.
Rest assured that these changes will not impact any of the products that you utilize in any way, and you can always expect the same level of world-class service from our team.

As you may know, Pioneer Bank was founded in Troy, NY, as a building loan and savings association more than 130 years ago. From the beginning, our belief was that the customer, our employees, and our community come first.
These founding values still hold true today, but the way we do business has changed. Our company has grown to become more than a Bank, with many additional lines of business including insurance and employee benefits. But we realize this growth may be confusing.
So, we've made some changes.
Beginning this summer, we’ll no longer refer to our organization through our various lines of business, but instead we’ll simply be: PIONEER.
It’s a small change with a big impact.
And we are also embracing a new approach that puts you – the customer – at the center of everything we do. Our new customer-centric brand strategy clearly communicates what we are and what we do for each customer.
One company. Seamless, centralized access for everything we do. No more logo soup, no more confusion.
We also have a new promise to our customers, one that we will deliver on each and every day:
We will inspire progress one individual, one family, one business, and one community at a time.
With that, we are also proud to share our new Action Statement. More than a motto or tagline, this memorable and powerful Action Statement completely embodies our new approach to doing business:
All Together ForwardTM
We proudly embrace this Action Statement for many reasons:
- We are one singular company with a singular focus, not a loosely related set of divisions
- We are a one-stop shop in that all of our products and services are now packaged together to help our customers move forward
- We’re committed to moving our entire community forward
Lastly, we are also introducing an Action Symbol that acts as a visual representation of All Together ForwardTM.
While this does not replace our logo, it is a recognizable graphic element that will easily be associated with Pioneer.

Beginning this August, you’ll notice our marketing and customer materials will be updated with new colors, photography, and brand elements.

We’ll also upgrade our website to better represent our new customer-centric approach. Our homepage will now feature a portal for each customer group we serve – individuals and families, businesses, government entities, community groups, and investors - displaying only the products and services that are applicable to each.

In addition, we will also transition to a new web address: www.pioneerny.com, and our email addresses will now end with @pioneerny.com, further emphasizing the fact that Pioneer offers more than banking services. Please make note of these changes and save them to your bookmarks and contact lists. If you continue to use our previous web or email addresses, you will automatically be forwarded to our new addresses.
